These accomplishments underscore the UAE’s leadership in promoting a secure digital ecosystem and its ability to mobilize international cyber capacity like no other event worldwide.

Global Cyberdrill Sets New Standards

A key component of this year’s edition was the Global Cyberdrill, organized in partnership with the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) and hosted by the UAE Cybersecurity Council. This global initiative gathered over 130 national cybersecurity authorities, CERTs, CIRTs, and CSIRTs from around the world to sharpen collective response capabilities. The GISEC North Star Startups Pitch Competition, powered by Cyber E71, drew major attention as 20 early-stage cybersecurity companies showcased disruptive technologies to an elite panel of judges, including:
