The items seized included multiple laptops, mobile phones, and cash totaling over S$54,600, alongside other foreign currencies. - 38-year-old Chinese National: Apprehended at his condominium on Cairnhill Road, he was found attempting to purchase personally identifiable information obtained through illegal means. His arrest led to the confiscation of one laptop, nine mobile phones, and S$465,000 in cash.
- 34-year-old Singaporean: Arrested at an HDB block along Hougang Avenue, he is suspected of abetting the offenses committed by his counterparts.
These individuals are charged under various sections of the Computer Misuse Act 1993. The charges include unauthorized access to computer material, possession of illegally obtained personal information, retaining malicious software, and abetting cybercrimes.
