In a bid to address the growing challenges posed by cyber threats, the Higher Institute of Sciences (HIS) organized a scientific forum on cybersecurity in Algiers on Wednesday, December 20, 2023. This gathering placed a significant emphasis on the importance of educating various groups on combating cyberattacks.

Mr. Hamid Ghnaoui, an expert in computer networks and security based in Canada, highlighted the evolving nature of cyber threats, emphasizing that they now target individuals across the spectrum. He stressed the indispensability of raising awareness among citizens about means of protection against these risks. To counter cyber threats effectively, Mr. Ghnaoui recommended the establishment of robust mechanisms, individual training, and the enhancement of legislation.
